IAP-ASM conference presentations in spring 2017
The project coordinator, IAP-ASM, represented the work of their Moldovian research institute on several occasions during the past few months at international events on behalf of HOLO. From the 25-27 April 2017, they attended the 3rd International Conference on Information Technology and Nanatechnology, "ITNT2017' in Samara, Russia. This three-day event aimed to discuss problems of fundamental and applied research in information technology and nanotechnology, including in the areas of Computer Optics, Diffractive Nanophotonics, Image Processing, High-Performance Computing, Computer Vision, Mathematical Modelling and Data Science.
During this event, researchers from Moldova presented their work to an international audience of fellow scientists from India, Iraq, Mexico, Russian, Spain and the U.S (among others) in "Phase grating patterning by direct laser recording on As2S3-Se nanomultilayers ", with the potential to be published in Procedia Engineering (Elsevier, vol. 201).

During the 17-19th May 2017, IAP-ASM also attended the 5th International Symposium on Frontiers in Polymer Sciences, hosted in Seville, Spain. This event featured a variety of invited and contributed talks to facilitate the oral and poster presentations. International plenary speakers from Korea, Australia, USA, and France (among others) lent their expertise and allowed for an exchange in knowledge between the participants. This event allowed IAP-ASM researchers to again showcase their work within HOLO through presenting "Oxindole-based azopolymers as media for direct laser recording of phase gratings"
